"What we're believing is our god." (notice I left god as small 'g', not capitlaized) While 'as a man thinketh, so is he' is indeed true, God is still sovereign. We have an incredible influence through our thoughts. We are made in His image, and He gave us power to create (dynamos). That said, God is still sovereign, and things serve His plans (not only our wishes.) You're not entirely wrong - I just wanted to preface that "within the will of God". He's not Santa Claus, and if it is a matrix [simulation], it is certain his matrix. We're to pray, "Thy will be done" because we're still subject to God; He is not subject to us.

Good point never heard it this way before yes prayer changes us because we need to change to receive his blessings it be like a sick person pray for better health but won't change there diet or go to doctor I see God is alive he show right food and he will put people and things in your path and this daily practice and little blessings let see the true living God and pray become easier do and things change

Amen. We just need to remain positive in times of wait. I thought of a Tom Petty track; 'The Waiting'. And remaining faithful towards your purpose or spouse or both/ whatever it may be. I notice it is difficult to avoid a negative mindset when you are in wait or when life bogs you down. Also, when we share too much with others they can tend to try and tear down your plans out of spite; or jealousy. Try not to get a big head as well if you have an idea of what God has in store, or if He already has revealed some things to you. 🎼"I'll be your bleedin' heart, I'll be your cryin' fool.. don't let this go too far, don't let it get to you.." 🎵🎶

Lord will deliver my family from debt, and help me get the job, I've written exam for! Because the lord says in Deuteronomy 28:12 The LORD will open to you his good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands. And you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray, AMEN!

And what if you have believed and thrusted God your whole life and he never ever answers a prayer? He answered only one prayer and he gave me my wife. Now she’s gone for 6.5 years for another man, my business(es) never prospered one day in 35 years and I always struggled with some diseases inclusive extreme fatigue. Where in heaven sake is the God who promises blessings? Sorry for disappointing you. I really hoped to see it in a different way but I’m done

So true, I started have very negative outlooks on life and bad things kept happening more and more. I used to ridicule negative people and the bad things that happened to them but found I started becoming negative too. Your message has confirmed the error or my ways.

Yes God does help and reward his believers, but there's more to this reward too, related to delayed gratification or other life lessons too
