I honestly really don't know how I feel about RDJ as Doom. On the one hand, it does seem really fascinating to cast him as a completely different character within a franchise he helped build from the start. On the other hand...is it worth bringing him back? I hope it's not too much of a cash grab, and that there's eagerness between everyone to want to do it. I will say that while I like the Russos' work with Infinity War and Endgame, I'm not sure if bringing them back for Doomsday and Secret Wars is the right answer. Part of the reason their work with the previous two movies was so good was because they were so different from Joss Whedon's work on the first Avengers and Age of Ultron. Repeating it seems...kinda uninteresting. That said, it would've been cool if they brought the Russos back for a smaller solo movie like with Winter Soldier. I am curious about the Fantastic Four and how they're going to be living in a 60s style universe. The cast looks great, and the idea is really sound. I do think that Galactus is a bad choice for the main villain though, even if it's guarunted to be better than the Rise of the Silver Surfer version of him. Overall, things seem interesting. Maybe not guaranteed smash hits, but interesting. Side note, I have not seen D&W yet, and I'm not sure when I will be able to see it.

It is junk writing. 1. Star Wars does not need to be sexualized. 2. A Wookie Jedi master is held off by a padawan. 3. Two convergences in the force. Where does that leave Anakin? 4. Ki Adi Mundi. This is just awful writing. The writer/director of this junk, in an interview said she originally wanted use Yoda, but was told no. Instead, she chose Mundi before he was born.

@@robbmorrison6868 1. I’ll fully agree that the sexual stuff is really out of place. Both here and last episode. Also part of why I never finished that Fallen Order/Jedi Survivor tie-in novel. 2. I’d say the argument is that it’s 2v1 until Carrie Ann-Moss shows up, but realistically it’s probably just plot armor for Torbin. 3. The Anakin situation is definitely weird, and like I think I mentioned it’s not like they haven’t already screwed with the prophecy. I do think there’s enough distinction between someone coercing the Force to do something, and the Force choosing to do something, but at the same time I don’t like the idea that the Force can now be compelled into doing stuff like this. 4. Even if they did use Yoda instead, there still is the major plot hole of someone on the high council during Phantom Menace knowing there was a dark side user running around killing Jedi. The writing certainly isn’t great. Lots of contrivances and the fact our main characters have borderline no personality or anything for us to latch onto. Oh, and the plot holes and canon breaking. Granted Star Wars has always had that issue, even under Lucas, but still.

So in episode 3 Mother Aniseya says “Ascension is about walking through fear. It is about sacrificing a part of yourself.” Mae says “Everyone must walk through fear. Everyone must be sacrificed to fulfill their destiny.” This undoubtedly leads to more misunderstandings between the coven and Jedi.

So during the first two episodes I thought it was fine and mildly interesting. Since then it’s kind of become meh and is losing my interest. If I were to judge it now, at the halfway mark, I’d call it a C tier show. But I try to reserve judgments until I see a finish product. In the event I choose to DNF the show, I’m not going to grade it and just say it’s not my thing.

That’s valid. Even with nearly an hour to show them off, this particular group of witches didn’t really do anything where I’m like “Oooh, I want to learn more.” I think it was more the idea that other cultures, groups, etc have different views of the Force and those could be interesting to explore that interested me.

Star Wars Zombies: I'm not sure where in the timeline it would happen, but it would be really fun to see. Palpatine Heist movie: That is a really neat concept, and would be a really fun genre shift within Star Wars. Plus, stealing from the Empire sounds like it would be super chaotic, and I love that. Kira and Maul: That does seem like a cool relationship to cultivate. Quinlan Vos: I liked him a lot in The Clone Wars, and I definitely want to know how he ended up helping Tala in Obi-Wan Kenobi. Asajj Ventress: Anything involving my favorite hairless harpy is something I'm gonna wanna see. I'd like to see her meet up with Ahsoka one more time, and in the (very unlikely) event we see her in live-action, I'm curious how she would look.

Throw the zombies either far past or future. Or just at a random place. So far in canon they’re saying a crime syndicate rose up infiltrating every organization and army in the galaxy, a sentient machine started its own type of zombie plague taking over droids and almost humans, and an assassination attempt was made on Palps and Vader all in the span of the year between Empire and Jedi. So how hard would it be to throw in a brief zombie outbreak?

Being cautious is always valid. I really like the TVA personally so I'm not super concerned about it breaking too many things, but you're right in that Marvel has been pretty hit-or-miss. I've actually heard that Marvel still wants to do Kang, so I don't know if they're going to kill him off specifically. Maybe they kill all the ones played by Majors, so that a new actor can take his place. If they do pull off what you're worried about though, I will share your annoyance. Recasting is always a viable option.

I just wish they’d be straight with us what they’re doing. Even something as simple as “Yes Kang is a thing still” or “No we’re doing something else.” They don’t even need to be super specific. I’d appreciate them for it, even if they do the route that annoys me.

We found a great solution for stickers! My wife bought a flexible, adhesive magnet sheet. We stick the stickers (as is, unpeeled) to the sticky side of the magnet, then cut it out. It is now a magnet for your fridge or whatnot. The kicker is that it can still be peeled off and used as a sticker at any time.

I didn't think we'd see the day where we'd get more Percy Jackson books in the day of 2023. I did likr Heroes of Olympus because of how good the other POVs were, though I did wish there were some plot points that I wish were done a little better. A low-stakes story is surprising, and I'm curious how it's handled. And it's for...college recommendation letters. Which I honestly can kinda relate to, they're hard as shit to get. If I ever see it at a local bookstore, Ill be sure to check it out.

Elizabeth Ormand If we’re going with the technical explanation, my guess is something messes up in placing the kid where they’re supposed to be. So instead of the middle of the floor they’re in the wall. If we’re going with my explanation; their latent magical ability teleports them safely into the walls and they just hang out there

I'm under the impression that Elizabeth here is possessed by HABIT. The dark voice tone behind her own is very reminiscent of how his voice has sounded coming up from behind Evan's in the past.

Not sure, I feel like HABIT's vessels wouldn't have dropped that easily, but he definitely set it up. I think "future Evan" here was HABIT in Evan's body, going back in time or something, or possibly just in their current time, since Evan would've been about 16 when this happened. Not exactly "all grown up", but older than Fairmount Evan ever was I think. Either way, we know from the accounts of the Fairmount home that HABIT and Evan are intrinsically linked somehow. The people James was meeting with were people he thought could help him uncover the secrets of his children, including a psychic named Elizibeth, who helped find several missing people in the area, as outlined in the news clippings from the DRKWND disk. She is the one who leaves the strange message at 1:32.

Ramona Onodera It is possible that they were all controlled by HABIT. There was a post a few years ago on Steph’s blog CANYOUSEETHEWORDS where HABIT took control of an entire SWAT team and made them kill each other. It’s most likely, in my opinion, I admit I could be wrong, that it’s the body HABIT is using personally that will be hard to take down.

Maybe HABIT himself wasn't present because he was in Evan's body, but he did the same thing he did at the warehouse and just made the diner patrons all go into a killing frenzy. This is unrelated, but I figured I'd mention it since I'm already talking: Corenthal mentioning the tree at Baldpate and going there to escape makes a lot more sense after "Introductions". After Vinny wakes up beneath it, I think the implication is that the tree is somehow a gate between here and "backstage". Not to mention in "The property", when Corenthal brings Vince back to our world, he drops him off at the tree.
