Had a holiday in Bournemouth, summer 2021, and the day trip by bus to Swanage was the highlight. This delightful coastal hideaway was beautiful. The fish and chips were quite possibly the best in my 60 years, unfortunately ive forgotten the name, but it was just down from Harry Ramsdens. I'd highly recommend a visit. Id retire there if i could. 😅

My grandfather, Roland M. Trayte, son of William and Jane Trayte, was born in Swanage and emigrated to America about 1890 abord the steamship California and settled in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. What a lovely, beautiful place Swanage is.

It's nothing like it used to be. As child I had some wonderful holidays in Swanage in the 60's, I had loads of relatives to see. My dad was born it Swanage and my grandfather way back in the middle to late 40's was the lighthouse keeper at Anvil Point.

These rose gardens are so beautiful. White, pink, yellow....such nice colours of these roses! Such nice blooms these are. I wish I would be there someday.

You forgot one of swanage biggest attraction there Swanage heritage railway for this video.
