I was at the game vs the Rockies for 690. When the ball cleared the fence railing, everyone started saying the same thing: "700 is no longer a matter of IF, but a matter of WHEN."
@BisbeePumas129 күн бұрын
695 was insane. I still can’t believe they’d pitch to him. Guys victimized your franchise the entire time he’s been in a Redbirds uniform. He victimized lefties all year and career. There’s a base open….and you pitch to him. 😂

Most impressive season he had in awhile. A fellow Cardinals fan and I joked around the previous season that wouldn't it be awesome if Albert came back to St Louis for his final season...Damn I am so glad we were BOTH right. Looking forward to the 2024 season and hoping to see quite a few Cardinal games!

If Albert Pujols isn't a unanimous first ballot hall of famer, then some of those baseball writers have serious problems.

Great player but I’m starting to realize he’s a bit of a one trick pony.. maybe these highlights don’t do it justice

He just scored twice last night for the Panthers, hopefully on the way to a Stanley cup championship 😊

What he did he did insanely well. Senko on the top of the circle w a wrister IMO is probably the most lethal shot ever. Tied w 8’s mid circle slap. It was damn near a guaranteed goal everytime.

This man was like a 9th round pick and is one of the greatest players to ever put a jersey on it insane to see a guy who was really a nobody when he started and became one of fhe most loved and respected players in the mlb.

I shed tears when he hit his final homerun. albert didn't just play baseball he loved baseball and is one of the greatest players of this generation, if not ever. Baseball will never be the same without him he made love the game and memories and achieving the impossible by hitting 700 greatness.

6:37 that was such an impressive homerun. Fastball up and away, and I mean UP and AWAY... we're talking a foot above the zone; neck-high and a little outside. And he PULLS it, like wtf????? Stupid enough he got a bat to it, but like ok, maybe it sprays off down the right field line if he's lucky. Nobody does that. Then there's Pujols...

He ran 16.8 miles when trotting around the bases. 127.3 ft from home base to home base which is .0241 miles. Multiply that by 703 just in home runs he ran 16.8 miles.
@dc5dennis362Ай бұрын
I think it's more than that. I think you're calculating the distance from 2nd base, straight home. Home to 1st is 90ft, so it would make it 360ft per homerun.
@RSLucky2048 ай бұрын
I thought it was a pipe dream that he would pass A-fraud or get 700 HR at the beginning of the season. I'm so glad he proved me wrong! Best pure power hitter of my lifetime (not on roids)
@willcooper47978 ай бұрын
if the cardinals would’ve extended him in 2011 no doubt he beats bonds in homeruns
