Man this used to be my favourite channel on YT. For some reason it was shadow-banned for years. It just didn't show up when I searched it no matter what. Glad I found it again, thoguht you deleted the channel honestly. Absolutely brilliant composition and playing!

I'm glad i found this channel. You are a fantastic composer and very unique! I actually just made my first pre-production for a "fake" video game where i scored it. It's a super fun challenge and i'm happy with how it's turning out so far. Glad to have discovered your stuff!

After watching the Gadd (pt2) video and being dumbfounded by it, I immediately subscribed to your channel and this was the one I sought out. As a drummer myself who abhors trying to play drum solos (mostly because I am unskilled like that), I tend to find them mostly uninteresting unless over a vamp or part of some orchestration. You took one of the most musical drum solos ever captured and somehow made it even better with a stunning composition. The fact that Mr Phillips even acknowledged it as such furthers the impression. You are proof that there is genius still being born among us...thank you for sharing you.

Not sure why this doesn't have millions of views after six months online... for those of us that had seen/heard that Gadd solo YEARS ago thought it was just another shining example of his brilliance, listened to it a hundred times and went on to the next leaving it in the past. THEN... @Alastair Taylor not only brings it back to life, but somehow enhances it and makes it a gagillion times better. I am completely dumfounded at a person's capacity to not only hear, but produce such a composition over an apparent "free form" drum solo. If I were king of the world, I would elevate you and your channel to infinity number of "likes" and "subscribers" where real talent should live....

Holy shit dude, this is so good, and you picked my favorite drum soloist to write to. His solos always sound so compositional to me, and your music really suits it well. Great moods, dynamics, riffs. The the midi mapping, the writing, the playing, to the mixing.....amazing! Definitely gonna watch this again. Probably a few times. Hope you guys make a 2nd record!
