Easy travel call. Players were called for less back in the day. 🚮

Ye but the defending players were in a worse position to reach the ball whereas the attacker had momentum going up so she just jumped over them

Can you do how to read defenders and how to score 1v1 in a 3-2 zone
@brodrickwyatt59626 күн бұрын
Gonna be hard to score 1v1 vs a zone. All of the scoring opportunities vs zone will come on ball reversals, flashing into open spaces, and utilizing picks to help the handler get downhill driving lanes.

Not sure that was worth highlighting, most teams run the shot clock down in a similar fashion.
@LordQuzumaki8 күн бұрын
Fair point. Counterpoint- 99% of high school players do the exact opposite of this and will shoot the first shot they see, leaving sometimes 20+ seconds for the other team to get the last shot.

Im going to drop you a gem! Take it or leave it that’s completely up to, 4 years at a D1 and 13 seasons in 11 countries I know a little something about a little something. You don’t wanna stagger your feet initially you kinda just wanna keep them shoulder with then you get into a hard low cross, as soon as you come out of that you can step hard with the lead foot and really give it that Iverson like effect

Does it really make sense to take shots like this in real games? A much better alternative is to pass the ball, in my opinion
@maskedky8 күн бұрын
Tough shot makers can make shots like this. Obv it's not optimal but you'd rather have it in your toolbox than not if you need to ever use it.

Is the hop better then 1 2 here fw wise
@JayDummy16 күн бұрын
Work on both you use 1 2 most on pull-ups
@_stoob16 күн бұрын
By hop do you mean the jump stop onto 2 feet? I think it’s a good habit to work on also from a pivot foot point of view. If you can’t get the shot off, you have more freedom to pivot from either foot.

I agree you can't build teams now. Players are looking for the money. Which is a double edge sword. Most wont make it to the league and this will be the only good money will make for playing ball. Will they do the right things with the money while they getting? Only time will tell. These kids are professional athletes(paid for their skills) now and they looking at the money. Sad truth until some regulations are made around the portal.

I agree with coach Jim. Shame on the players. Why leave a March Madness Final Four contending team just for a little more cash? The players forgot why they're in school on scholarship in the first place. Talk about entitlement! Coach Jim, don't step down. I'll jump on the next flight out to MIAMI along with 7 other rock solid players to take it all the way to an NCAA title. The NCAA needs to impose a spending cap and stricter transfer rules. If NCAA doesn't make changes fast they're going to lose their best coaches.
