Liam O'Brien's character work is insane. Also I think Caleb Widogast ended up being one of my favorite fictional characters by the end of the M9. It's great to see him beyond that.

Caleb using a better version of the same strategy that Ikithon used against him and the party is such a crazy-ass callback and so apt for Caleb's progression as a wizard and as a person. It is godly character work by Liam. Job well fucking done, my man.

My favourite round in DND so far was dealing well over 100 damage at level 4. Do note, our campaign gave us +1 Feat. I dealt 2d6+20+4+2d6 on the first strike, 2d6+20+4 on the other two. It was beautiful. (Champion, Tavern Fighter, Great Weapon Master, Archery Fighting Style & Improvising the Heavy Crossbow as a Maul). PS, read the Features, Feats and Abilities before you tell me *"no you can't"* because I've done my research.

According to the Critical Role wiki, Braius and Vax'ildan are tied for the highest damage in a single attack at 109HP. (While technically Caleb is listed as the highest due to hitting two separate parts of Uk'otoa's body, I don't think it should count since it doesn't even follow the rules the list maker set)

Fun fact: If you cast Delayed Blast Fireball and don't detonate it, it gains an additional 1d6 damage per turn. As written, this includes Time Stop turns.

Meaning that he should've tried the arch breaking thing first, then DB fireball (therefore losing concentration on telekinesis, since db fireball is also a concentration spell) and then mirror image and fire shield. By the time he was casting the level 7 fireball, the DB version would've gained additional 4 charges instead of just one. He just lost 3d6 damage. :)
