apparently this is the version from blue block land and the build after that and before sage. weirdly enough the version from the post-blue block land+pre-sage build is in the files on the sage demo and its prob updated than blue block lands version

There were a LOT of rooms that weren't added yet. Including all of the secret rooms. Check some later builds, even ones from late 2019, to see just how much is missing from this John Gutter.

@@Red_Chicken_Gaming Some stuff from the level is in the Sage 2019 Demo's files, like around 20 rooms, some backgrounds and tilesets, which is super cool.

this version was included in the blue block land builds. it's short and not a full level because it was originally going to be the tutorial replacement. until PTG decided to use the demo 1 tutorial that was still in the files. but later on, it was turned into a full level.

Yeah. It's obvious that a lot was changed in the 4 years between this demo and the final game, but you can still see remnants of this version of the level in the final.

The text animation at 0:05 looks immensely realistic the 80s. How did you make it?

First I made the animation for the text at the top, which lasted 15 frames. The animation is the text growing from the smallest possible size, in this case, 1%, to 100%. Then, I copied and pasted the text 15 times, cut it when the animation ended, offset each text layer by 1 frame from the one above it, and changed the opacity, with the bottom layer having the lowest opacity and each layer having higher opacity than the one below it. I hope this explained it well.
