If you venture underground and grab at least two light bulbs you can make a lantern at the alchemy engine, you can also refuel said lantern with more light bulbs, that should help your darkness mishaps. lol

Some tips : Make a razor to shave beefalo while they sleep. That will give you the wool you need for a hat. Ice can be used as a filler. One meat and three ice equals meatballs. Silly I know but true, lol. You don't have to bait your rabbit traps. You can place them directly over the hole OR you chase a rabbit into a trap. Those shadow hands won't hurt you. They only steal your fire. You need to chase them away. Run at them not away from them.

Ice in this game is known as the universal filler, works in almost all crock pot dishes.

You progressed to winter, good job. I would recommend you to start preparing season clothes 5 days before season starts. Because sometimes you may need a lot of time to find beefalos. I wont spoil for you ,but if you manage to kill winter boss (and not reguired to be you to kill him) you can craft something that will help you in spring and summer.

Planar is an endgame effect, it allows you or enemies to do extra planar damage on top of your normal damage. You most likely will not see or use a planar attack for a long time.

Until you learn the best ways to acquire meat and effective crockpot recipes, i suggest you avoid using Wigfrid. lol

Why the spring start?

You can eat blue caps raw so as ither meat if you play as maxwell because your sanity goes up really fast. You can also eat lightbulbs they give 1 health but there is soo many of them they will grow up after 4 days so you cant evem collect all lightbulbs.

Take two lightbulbs to an alchemy machine, go to the light tab in your crafting menu, (the fire icon) craft a lantern, you can also refill said lantern with lightbulbs. Also until you get said lantern, make sure to always keep a torch in your inventory. lol

When Wolfgang's mightiness meter hits zero you don't suffer damage, but you will do reduced damage, the higher his mightiness the more damage you can do, also maximum mightiness allows you to carry heavy objects with ease,. Keep it up man you're doing great.

I dont want to spoil much. But if you want to hear some tips scroll down Attack the enemies with control + f its much better. Bait the enemy for hit by running into them then immediately run away a little and when they miss the hit control + f attack them 1-2 times and then run away again/ repeat. You must learn how to kite or else you cant make much in the game. Science machine only needed to craft the alchemy machine which is upgraded wersion of itself (also when youmake the alchemy hammer the science machine since you dont need it anymore. When you make the alchemy machine first 3 things you need is hambat and footbal helmet. They need pigskin and 2 meat. The safest way to get a meat is killing the 2 cats. (You can try to kill beefalos of tallbirds but that is bad idea) And for pigskin you need to hammer the pighouses or pigheads. And for third you need to go to the caves and got 2 lightbulbs and check the fire tab under alchemy machine. Also you are not using the precraft system (prototype structures and dont place them) Like firepit of science machine. And you are using a lot of junk like nitre, or petals, and other things which is unnecessary. Spear and wood armor is a waste of time also. Just get a ham bat and football helmet as soon as possible/ because you are defenceless and can't fight back without them. A nd most recources in game is obtained by fighting.

The players kicked you because most griefer players are woody. Woody can easily break the whole mega base by his werebeaver form.

WOLFRANG is strongest character in game. But in hands of new player he is Woodie with 2x more hunger and sanity drain. Its best to experience game with wilson because he has no upsides and downsides.

threeguard idol is good for farming living logs/or killing raid bosses by summoning huge amount of threeguards and make the boss hit them. Also you must take lucy from your hands to be able to craft the hat and cane/ you dont need science machine for that.

The music at 1h 38 is beautiful :) P.S I think that's the most serious I have heard you in any playthough video.

It was fun to watch good sir, very good effort and excellent progress.

Hope you keep playing. You're doing great! It's a hard game but a lot of fun once you get it. You haven't even scratched the surface, lol. A couple tips : Space bar will perform auto-actions. i.e. Stand next to a bolder with pick axe in hand and hold space. You will mine and then pick everything up. See a carrot on the ground, walk up to it a tap the space bar. You will pick it up. It's easier than clicking on everything. Use F to attack enemies( spiders, tree guards, tall birds..) and ctrl+F to attack friendly mobs (mole worm, butterflies, rabbits..) Again, easier than clicking. Also know this is a kiting combat game. Attack a few times, move away to dodge, then move back in to attack, rinse wash repeat. There will be different patterns for each mob. Where you plan to base build the stone fire pit instead of campfires. Once the fire pit is down it stays and you only have to add fuel. As you saw the crock pot is key! Those meatballs can be made with one meat and any three fillers (three of one or any combination of carrots, mushrooms-any kind, berries, and other vegetables) i.e. monster meat and red mushrooms will kill you by themselves but combine one monster meat and three red mushrooms in a crock pot and you get meatballs.
