There's a much easier way in - behind the Old Generator House on Bourne Valley Road. The culvert you went into runs under Poole, not Bournemouth. The Bourne Stream in Bournemouth is entirely overground.

Sorry but no this is what happens when you put a millennial in a police car. What ever excuse you are thinking. They could have found the farmer and had him move the animal. Those "police" officers should be sacked. I encounter farm animals on a weekly basis that have made it onto the road, and it is possible to get them to safety without hitting them with my 46t truck. There is law in the UK to do with farm animals. Any farm animal that is hit on the road by a vehicle has to be reported to the authorities.
