Hey Clonts I know this is a old video but tell your AK friends to look into the double-walled socket developed by stan patterson it holds suspension much better than conventional socket

If an amputee has most of existing femur but no patella. Do you recommend squats and other full functional movements with both legs moving if they are physically capable? Thanks

He is the Sheriff of that there town and ain't no one ever gonna unseat him period. He busted his ass to be where he is. He has a right to be cocky about it. There are people coming on the show acting cocky right out of the gates then getting sent home looking like complete douchebags. He conquered this arena. He owns it !

I've recently took my first steps without devices about a month ago, since then I've been working more in walking without any and a cane but I'm having severe back pains. I've also gained a lot of weight since becoming an amputee. any advice and or tips for me?
@DavidClontsPT8 жыл бұрын
You might want to see your doctor if it's severely painful. Losing the weight should help some and I have a video to get started with that if you look through my past vids on here. It's called "Fastest way to lose weight." Strengthening your core will help with your back too. Joe from the video had the same issues to start with I remember. If you'd like to talk to him there's a link to him in the description on this video I believe ... If not it is in his war story video for sure. Hopefully that helps some. Keep lifting and good luck!
@AmpDad878 жыл бұрын
+David Clonts thank you. I have an appointment but it seems since becoming an amp everything's a wait, tell them concerns it takes weeks to be seen every time.

I did! Had a poor strategy in my challenge ... reactive instead of proactive. Great experience though!

+David Clonts one last question... how long did you have to prepare for the competition after they interviewed you.
@DavidClontsPT8 жыл бұрын
+Allan Lozada it's different for everyone. Just depends on where they want you. I ended up taking a slot that was open a few weeks before they had me scheduled. A friend that made it had 3 months before he went. No one was ever upset that they trained too hard and long for something though so why not start today!
@doriordway2496 жыл бұрын

Hey so we're you on the show? I got a call back gonna do the interview next week? where does it go from there? what do they require from you? am I gonna have to send a video or did you just add that so they can see what you're all about.
@DavidClontsPT8 жыл бұрын
Series of interviews and you'll have to send some pics in ... Video optional. I think it's helpful to make one though. Good luck!
