Nice... but the key is lower than the original. So far, I have seen only Ethan Harris has sung it in the same key as the original.

Thanks so much for this, my favourite Renaissance song. I remember hearing it as a Radio 1 session back in 1978 and have listened to it fondly since then. The album remaster from 2019 sounds really good and lifts the sound from the original release. Annie's voice was always unique in its range and clarity and it must be said that she was 75 years of age when this was performed.

As a country music fan, Brandy is a LEGEND! Not only does she just write great songs in general, but she co-wrote a COUNTRY SONG that's essentially about Pride and it won Song of the Year! That was literally historic.

@@DewdRocks We sussed the curcs from her intro! So glad you asked, she granted and you posted, thank you. Never thought to count, but have gone to every Ma. concert except the western area ones, and a few NH + one RI. And I'm 70 in October, so it's kinda a lot. Never repetitive, (although nobody would mind that. We clamor for our early favorites because we've loved them for decades, since our first LPs and cassettes). Always mesmerizing, always hysterical. I met my hub at a festival that we'd both gone to only because she was on the docket. He had a huge crush on her, which amused me, but I let him have his fantasy romance for many years. Then he p-ed me off one day, and I turned into a mean super-villian. "And guess what else, bucko? You never stood a chance with Cheryl, even in your dreams!" I broke his little boy heart (although he was 44) and later was so sorry. But it was probably a good thing because she started talking about her partner in live shows maybe a decade later. If he's replaced her with a different unobtainable fantasy wife to just sit around and sing beautifully to him all day long, he's not telling me this time.
