I'm looking into buying a dump trailer for demo work vs a dump truck. Just curious if you think the front 3 stage ram would be a better option in the long run the scissor and duel cylinder trailers seem very slow. Tx pride fully speced out was just under 16k. Diamond c basically the same trailer with the gas powered lift was 42k. Just wondering what your thoughts would be

@@Saved2034 I had a trailer with 3 stage. It was fast but I don’t think it will do a lot of weight. Also I bought mine for tree debris and stumps and equipment hauling and it’s set up for 26k gvwr. 42 k is pretty high and I know that Texas pride will also do a pony motor as well. I wish my trailer was faster but also I love what it can do and I’ll be patient to have longevity over speed. I hope I helped but if you have more questions, feel free to ask

Nice trailer, but absolutely way to slow, I happen a few Texas prides nice trailers, I now have a 13 hp Honda on my dump trailer , what a difference

That’s not a scissor lift. It’s direct push.
@OptimalcontainersАй бұрын
@@roberthafer5868 no kidding I said that. They normally come that way but we opted for the twin ram

You can load dirt and rock okay. Tree debris is rough. I use our mini and bigger excavators to load and pack it down

Sounds like your steering clutch piston might have lost it's seal? I had an old Komatsu act like that and it was a gland seal that went bad

The right steer valve has no pressure. So have to rebuild the valve. The left side had full pressure. We will see

I know how much abuse the 2' sides of my dump trailer have taken over the years. They have bowed out numerous times from things getting lodged during dumping and the tailgates don't line up, so I have to push them back into place with the excavator. I have welded supports on the sides because the hinge support cracked, the list goes on and on. You can see the sides flex @3:53 when you dump that load. I don't see good things happening with those 5' sides on that trailer !
