I've been on this bridge on 20/09/24 during the Brisfest. There was hundreds of people on it and it was quite windy. The part of the bridge between the motorway and the central pillar was oscillating so much that I had to hold the railing. This is a disaster waiting to happen. I don't understand why nobody is raising this issue. I hope it was like this by design but I never going to walk on it again.

@brisbanebeyond3637 thanks. I lived in Brisbane for 25 years and watched the early development of this area into the casino development. Can't say I enjoyed the traffic rerouting, but I must visit now it's complete. Still, I have my doubts whether a casino is the best option for Brisbane and can only hope that, unlike the Queen St Mall and Sth Bank, the Brisbane council leave this area to progress without their constant abysmal interference.

Went there today and to be honest, that glass is easily climb-able if someone really wanted to. The fact there’s a bar right there so you’ll have a heap of drunks accompanied with gambling addicts, this comment is absolutely on point. I’d say there’s a very high probability someone dies jumping over the fence.
