She's my very favorite minor character ever! You're one of the very few reacters who noticed or commented that either she or a very similar-looking Xi'Dec was in this episode at Skull Ridge Mountain Hotel & Spa... looking to get her external egg sacks fertilized, no doubt. 🤷‍♀

My guess about Jod is that he was a jedi youngling that was sent off to join a master to begin training as a padawan just before Order 66. When he arrived at the meeting place, he had circumstancialy been abandoned. From then on it was all about survival on his own.

This show shocks me that I like it this much at my age. I think Disney made an error not pushing it earlier and promoting it aggressively... but the extra time probably polished its post production which is why it looks this good.

If you're anything like my age (45), I can tell you EXACTLY why you like it. It reminds you of the films that shaped our childhoods, like E.T. and Goonies and Flight of the Navigator etc.

It's meant to be an old republic planet or destroyed eons ago but those did look similar to Operation Cinder satellites and yeah some imperial equipment look alike. Although the tank reminds me of SWTOR. Hmmm Although they did say some trade had been happening. Which if true just shows how iffy in some aspects the new Republic is.

Omg I just realised something. The under secretary and others talking about the Great work. Surely they've been cut off since the high Republic then and the time of the great works being created like starlight beacon. Possibly cut off since the great hyperspace disaster. The barrier gives me vibes of the Nihil and how they travelled

I hope there is a second season. I remember the prequels being hated on, that's nothing new with some fans. Honestly, none of its perfect but that's not what matters. I like seeing dark side users fighting to exist. The cracks in the jedi order had to become apparent in order for the Sith to rise. It's great to see more creative things happening and i don't mind some minor issues, otherwise i would never have got into Star wars in the first place.
