You probably already blew you head to come up with such close minded thinking. “Music is the arrangement of sound to create some combination of form, harmony, melody, rhythm, or otherwise expressive content” I think it does fit to the definition of Music.

I'm not a huge dubstep fan but everytime I *have* enjoyed it, it's purely because of the quality and power of the sound systems. It's like any other big concert where you can feel the power in the air. It's similar to listening to a racecar's exhaust. It may sound good through a phone, but it's a whole other experience being there and feeling it with your body. I think for some people it taps into some primal thing I'm not introspective enough to describe.

@@heck_6877​​⁠exactly as you said , it’s quite hard to explain. It’s like “primal”, I usually listen to music not because of lyrics but the way it sounds and what emotion it transmit. And such music is pure rage , which sometimes ease my mind. You see the same with hardmetal head , they are super sweet outside of concert, but full beast during it. I’ve also seen multiple relating to it while having hence making their head quiet adhd. Different people different brain, their is even some studies showing people with divergent thinking being able to be more focus on caffeine or even “white powder”. And btw I don’t need not take drgs to enjoy such music nor do I listen only to this type of music, in fact I even listen to orchestra which would be considered by many as the literal opposite.
