I found this to be one of the best instructional videos on telehandlers. Very comprehensive pre-operation inspection. If operators were to consistently use this procedure, surely safety would improve significantly. Overall a very well done video presentation. Thanks for posting it.

This was a fantastic video really covering the basic concepts I’ve struggle to grasp. I learned more in this single video than I have in 4 years of classroom instruction so thank you!!

What buttons do you press to activate the outriggers together at same time?

Basic general inspection is good. However it is important to mention that the Operator must be certify to Operate the machine and very important that the Operator must be certify with Fall Protection. Two certifications are needed. Many videos do not mention the Fall Protection certification. Otherwise the video is basic. Lots of room for improvement. Keep up the good instruction

Worked with similar lifts, while a construction worker. Inspected a lot of these (and their use) as a safety inspector, on construction jobs. While standing with the superintendent of an owner/operator company, who's workers were doing construction work on their site, we watched several men climb into one then use it as an elevator to a cooling tower. Problems were: 1. The Men weren't wearing harnesses/tied off inside the unit. 2. We observed the men climb over the hand rail and over the guardrail on the tower without being tied off. 3. The tower was only as high as a two story building roof, and there was a stairway from the ground to where they were going. (Not inaccessible). 4. When I asked to see the operator training certification, I was informed that he didn't have one. In fact he had just been hired because he told the superintendent, he knew how to operate one. 4 violations with multiple exposures.
