The closet is a great place to ask Marie Kondo’s question of whether items spark joy. I loved seeing the items you’ve made more than once.

I love your hair, and had to laugh at the commentary. You sure you don't want to put them in a bin somewhere and think about it? LOL. I ask because i'm notorious for giving things away and then a year or two later miss them. Stay well! Kimberly

I love these style of videos, because they let us also see how well things hold up and how practical they can be. So often we only see the images and thoughts immediately after finishing.

I love watching how different people approach sorting handmade items into "keep" and "get rid of" - I always gain a new perspective! Also, I'm nosy and like seeing what's in people's handmade closets! 😅

I always mix up the front and back of my knits too! I started tying a bow in matching scrap yarn on the inside back neck, where shirt tags are.

I'm only half way through this so far, but I love the warmer toned colours on you so much, even the cream. I'd also do some kind of surgery on the neck of the brown one, so you're more likely to wear it. I also really hate high necklines.

Why are you counting mini skeins as full skeins? I would have counted them as 6 skiens equivalent of 30x20g =6x100g skeins

Ugh! I read Wuthering Heights in high school for a classics project and I hated it even a few chapters in and wasn’t allowed to switch. I remember telling my parents it was a “slog through a bog”. 😂 I’m gonna be honest, I don’t think I realized anybody considered it a romance. 😅 On the other hand, your Allison Cardigan is looking so gooooooooood! I can’t wait to see it finished!

My fiancé was half-watching with me this morning, and he was shocked when you mentioned that you were getting rid of something because you had negative feelings. I reminded him that I ripped something out and gave away the yarn for free for a similar reason. 😂

I love when you do these. It inspires me to go through my own knits. Right now they're in a bag in the back of my yarn room closet, as I have intentions to repurpose the yarn...but I know it'll just sit there. I should just send them to new homes. Also, I LOVE your Great Garter Bomber! I am so glad that one stays. :)

And I'd never heard of the Muse tee but OMG it's SO cute! I'm glad you're keeping it to see if you'll wear it more! 💕💕💕💕

It was so much fun following along with you on your TDF! I am also a big fan of cable plying, so it makes me happy to see you have so much fun with yours. I bet the Karacul yarn would make a great crocheted or coiled basket! Just an idea for a use, since I can only imagine how ropey that must be!

Thanks so much for sharing your journey through TDF! I have some fibers that I want to learn how to spin from the fold from.... I do want to learn fractal spinning, but I know I prefer the way stripes and color controlled yarns look. (Yes I'm a bit of a control freak) Now to get back to other requirements. Like the test knits I'm participating in and the kal I'm a part of and and and ... 😅

I thought the “instructions” meant opening all four of the skeins on “the first” day - and doing a gradient+fractal (1/2 + (1/3 + 1/3) or something) with the total length of the 4 days, but that might be cheating? :P And good on you for taking the time you need :)

The colors of the fiber are lovely. 🥰 One of the things it’s good to do when you have braids is to unbraid the whole thing and kind of shake it/ wave it back and forth to introduce air to make it fluff up more.
