Love the crabbing. Air Canada lost a lot of lift right at the very end. I did not see any action of the flight controls that would have created that punch down. May be some wind shear? At 2:28:05, the pilot of Delta 144 must know that I really like Captain Wheelie.

I read that approximately 1.5 lbs of rubber per tire is left on the runway on each landing, thus the runway cleanings a couple of times per week.

You know how Dutchies are, right Steven? It'll probably get cut some time soon; and then no more for the remainder of the year. I'd have to check my streams from last year to see how it was back then, but it's definitely quite overgrown right now 😁

Thanks Boy. It looks so different. July will be my 9th trip to Schiphol. Looking forward to Schiphol’s cooler weather it was 105 degrees and no breeze when I filmed at Orlando International yesterday.

Up to 20 KT of nearly pure crosswind today! Polderbaan in use once more for both inbound traffic and outbound traffic. This resulted in many crabby arrivals, 1 early go-around, and, by some unexpected luck, the Emirates A380 landing in the full crosswind on 18R! We also got to see the new jetBlue livery, which is gorgeous and looks a lot like ITA, the Orange Pride, and much, much more!
