WHAT ABOUT IN 2024!!!!!

Magni Heresy/Heretic are SO good that even though I have a $700 DAC and $1000+ Burson amp upstairs I'm often downstairs listening to my Heretic. Absolutely spectacular and a steal at what they charge. They're on sale on the schiit website right now (the Heretic) for $59 freakin dollars guys. No brainer purchase.

I am an older gentleman that is looking for assistance with passive hearing from voices around me. Is it amplified on the Samsung?

Yeah i got a pair of bose for 1 christmas and already had just bought galaxy buds heaps cheaper am glad i traded my bose in for cash towards my laptop most of what ive seen is samsung winning the earbuds comp so glad i traded the bose buds in for lap top merch

From what I learned from this review, may as well pick up the magni heresy and modi + stack for similar price as the asgard, asgard with dac you can add the loki + for a few dollars more at around 450 for the three and at 400 for asgard with dac... the three stack looks so appealing.

I just picked up a used buds pro for around 45 usd, so it wins this category hands down i guess 😅

Get the HE X4 if you don't have the cash for sundaras. The HE 4XX are amazing, but not really an upgrade or downgrade fron the Sundara they are very different.

Andrew, your audio video setup seems better now then your past videos. Whatever you did to enhance it or change was well worth it, (but you still have some fan noise in the background at times).

all people claiming oh you need a better dac blah blah....the fact is none of them can tell a difference in a double blind test...every time a test like that is done, its a fail for them and a lot of excuses to follow :D

One thing I can for sure hear is the high pitch ringing in the background of this video

Bose is much better then Galaxy also the sound is much better and has been update with eq and other options

Will this work well with the Sennheiser HD600? I don't have the intention to buy a balanced cable and the hd600 comes with a 3.5mm and a screw on adapter so.

with the QC, I found that you have to switch around the different sizes that works best for you. large buds fit the best for me.

I don't think it's true that people with very expensive headphones would necessarily use more expensive DACs and amps, given that there's nothing to be gained in terms of sound quality by upgrading those components. Not everyone pays for snake oil, and expensive DACs and amps are just that, snake oil. Expensive headphones, however, are not.

Can you use it with the asgard as a dac only to compensate for the lack of power and still use the true bass feature?

I have both. I would anyday pick Bose for their sound signature and ANC. No hard feelings to buds pro either.

Simple quality test: play CD on your system under conditions you want to listen under (ambient noise, audiophile quiet). Compare it to the same music streamed at lower quality (eg Spotify OV) to the same system! Use streaming trial subscriptions and make your choice. Quality is in the brain of the listener, a bit like beauty, and we know how that differs between individuals 😀

IMO the BOSE win in every category that matters. Sound quality and noise cancellation.

I hav the Schiit Heresy and use it to drive my Focal Celestee headphones and it does a great job! I have no issues with the heresy trying to power the Focal Celestee.

No since In having Spotify premium as a Amazon prime member . Free shipping and Free music . Having a great quality cellphone or Tablet even a good computer can make a big difference in leasing to good sound music. I have iPad 11 pro and iPhone 13 pro max . My husband has Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra . It sounds great .

Anyone with the Sony's for godake, throw away the included eartips, they are so bad it's unbelievable they include it when they have such a good product. Instead, get your self a good pair of regular silicone tips (or foam if you prefer). The comfort and ANC is night and day when you get good fitting ANC.

Bose QC are just way to big imo and the case too, you kind of look like a fool wearing them. I could only use them for working out.

The heresy is more analytical, while the Magni 3+ has a slightly warmer sound.

I have tried JBL earbuds, then the Bose/Bose QC earbuds, then the Jabra earbuds. I now own the Soundcore Liberty Pro 3 earbuds. These earbuds are amazing! So many features with their app such as active noise canceling (ANC) 3D surround sound check them out. Oh, and they have 4 different sizes of earbuds and fins for the perfect fit! They stay in your ears too! The sound quality is waaay better than Bose! The best earbuds in my opinion!

Thanks for the great review. I am a truck driver and right now I'm using the Galaxy buds Pro. I'm concerned about call quality in noisy environments. Would you recommend with Sony's over Samsung buds Pro or another earbud? Thanks

The 3+ is better than the Heresy by a small margin, but the Asgard 3 is a lot better by comparison. It's fully discrete. It needs the right DAC though. The Modi 3 didn't pair as well as the Modius did.

HD and Ultra on a fair to good Hi-Fi system really does imho, create more of an emotional connect with the artists' performance. Soundstage, depth of field and many other metrics are more fully realised as more data (depending on the master) is available for the provision of a reproducible presence. Just to enjoy this enhanced realism helps me to revisit places of musical sanctuary in a new way. I still luv the tactility of vinyl, but there is a lot of fun to be got from HD.

I have the boose quiet.the sony xm 4s .and soundcore liberty 3 .in my opinion the soundcore sound better

Started with the atom amp switched to schiit heresy. Knob is complete trash on the atom and Heresy is miles ahead. Heresy much bettter imo
