They might as well close it , board it up, and turn off the lamp. As corporate disney HATES Walt (and Roy), their ideals, ethics, and all they stood for and wanted for the parks and the company THEY built. His spirit is GONE from the park. Heck, the evidence is all around. Only you pixie dusters either see with rose colored glasses or refuse to see at all. So, they (corporate disney) will continue to laugh at you ALL while they charge you MORE, give you LESS and change everything that made "the Disney Difference" a reality.

If you want to do an Alaska cruise, I recommend the train excursion in Skagway and the Salmon Bake in Juneau. But get outdoors as much as you can, and bask in that.

Have taken the South Shore many times before street-running was removed from Michigan City, and I've taken Amtrak. The South Shore usually is on time. AMTRAK usually is late.

I’ve taken South Shore three round trips this summer. The last two, I saw a roach, including one crawling around next to my seat. I’ve taken Amtrak many times over the years and have never seen a roach.

It’s like comparing apples to oranges in that south shore is a commuter train and Amtrak is a long distance train…

So true... I guess for us it was transportation either way so that's how we were measuring it? Both were WAY better than renting and driving a car :)

Absolutely! Going back for 5th time first week of sept 2024. We see something new on every adventure. I believe the cruise line makes the biggest difference. We sale HAL which is the oldest and longest cruise line in Alaska. This gives them priority in a lot of ways. Thanks for sharing.

I would like to try HAL! I especially want to sail with them because they are one of the few cruise lines that can get into Glacier Bay National Park and that is definitely on our bucket list! Thanks for watching!

No. Only use Princess or Holland America for Alaska criuises

We sailed in may of last yr we enjoyed it as it was our first time to Alaska We did have a balcony which we used a lot more. I do ago ship is out dated but clean n food was good !! Breakfast agreed crowded. I did here try Holland or Princess. Thanks for the video ! Ps they had a great bar that made the best expresso martinis
