Thank you for making this video, going through it step by step, what to look for and how to put it back together. I was literally complaining to my therapist about the damn carburetor and feeling overwhelmed about learning how to deal with it.

Thanks for the great video and your time. I have a small problem, same saw. I got the 2 nuts out that hold the carburetor in place and the 2 pieces of linkage and the darn thing still not sliding out like yours. Any ideas?

My ms251c has been a great saw. I use it several times a year for storm cleanup around our property and have taken care of some decent size trees with it. Mine had the easy side tensioner but i recently converted it to a standard tensioner thay uses the scrench. The easy tensioner would loosen on its own some times and dealing with the rachet mech while putting on the bar was a hassle. Just picked up a ms400 and a farmmac f380 to mess around with since i have some larger trees that i have to remove.

I was looking for a video on cleaning and rebuilding a carburetor on a Stihl 171 but there's no videos of such a thing. Most of them are about replacing the carburetor w a new one. And none of them describe the process. All were useless to me . Finally I found your video. Thank you for providing me with the instructions that I needed. Clear and concise. Again thank you, I'll b following your channel from now on.

Fun to watch the carves. Thanks for your tutorials as well. I never used a chainsaw til last week, and finally tonight I did my first bear in a stump block out. Super fun, and looks like a bear so far. I stopped n came back to watch more vids and tutorials, to double check my cuts, n see where I wanna go next with it. Just using a standard bar and a battery saw, so probably be moving to a die grinder soon. Thanks for sharing all you do.😊👍 I like these lil sign bears.
