50s & 60s & 70s were the best for me when we had the army & navy store...C&A STORE...the old inside market before it burnt down, tommyfield market used to be loads of stalls to buy most things you wanted,,,i worked on the market for the council 70s/80s,,,,memories ... great times..but now its........build another carpark..

wrong answer Oldham had 5 Stations the 2 mentioned Plus Central Clegg St and Glodwick road my Grandfather worked there and my Father caught theTrain there everyday to Dobcross Measurements halt

Back when going to Oldham was fun..everything about it, better days..And over the next 8 years it was announced its going to be demolished after only 27 yrs for housing development....

good stuff m8, seems to be running right and doing the biz, i might do a similar thing with the bottom of mine (clean out hole) i can see having a lower hole would also be easier for getting it lit, did you use vermiculite for the filler? and looking forward to seeing it installed! thanks for sharing m8 all the best
