but why would u want a knee valgus when u know u can prevent it. Why would u also be ok with it when you know your other leg doesn't cave in
@DavidBertossi Жыл бұрын
1) in various sports you will get knee valgus inevitably, better train it so you are prepared and have more strength in that area. 2) Train it on both sides.

Thanks Adam - thoughtful movement drills that let me mobilise my T Spine without the discomfort from other drills I've been doing that don't agree with an irritable lower back.

A few weeks ago, I had a tough time walking. It is just exceptional how I managed to complete a five kilometer run now. I will definitely suggest this plantar fasciitis solution to all my jogging pals, try it yourself!. You can get this tip on Google. They call it Jacob Ballοycut Take care

So if we eliminate the heal strike, does that eliminate the issues? A mid foot or fore foot gait, for example?

Is the pelvis in posterior tilt? I feel mine compensates by going I to anterior, or is that natural?

I just did this now and while I can't say if it's done anything, it felt really good so thank you! How often should or can I do this? Should I do it both sides? Thanks again

Hey would this taping method work and hold for barefoot training in sports like mma or kickboxing?
@xherecomesth3sun6 жыл бұрын
oh that's good. I didn't think about how basketball players do valgus naturally.

I don't believe in training valgus, though, I've never heard of that before and I'm pretty skeptical of that....

Awesome, CARs is cool Concept to integrate the movement into function. How do you think the "high tension strategy" in FRC drills? Do you think it may be kind of a Compensation clenching the whole body to work one part? (like NKT Concept, people may try to Compensate with ANY thing for the movement :) ) Thanks, Wonderful :)

Do you have specific guidelines regarding thoracic range of motion ie degrees of rotation or are you mainly looking for symmetry?

Great video! I am almost finished reading your book and started to ask myself how the exercises actually look live. I love your ocean analogy in the book, really hits home! These videos helped a lot. Would these exercises be a good progression from some primal movements exercises? I am looking for the next step to progress my patients from the floor to standing. Thanks, Robert

So how does this differ from Myers anatomy trains?
@adamwolfpt.99807 жыл бұрын
anatomy trains stays at a specific depth, and there are superficial and deep lines. this is more about movement, and some of the lines travel superficial to deep. for me it's more about what motion it controls.

Thanks for posting, awesome!About how many times and reps you recommend to correct the motion, and how to give Home Drill themselves?Because patients may not know the the controled mobility is back right :) ?

When you mentioned about the knee feeling an external rotation nomen during foot strike, wouldn't that be a normal kinematic movement? If the tibia and femur are both internally rotating, but the femur is moving slightly slower than the tibia, that would create a relative external moment at the knee.
@adamwolfpt.99808 жыл бұрын
Motion in the extremities is named for what the distal bone does on a fixed proximal bone. Both bones are moving internally but the bottom bone does it faster than the top when the foot hits the ground. Therefore the knee feels internal rotation. If the femur moves in faster than the tibia when the foot hits the ground the knee would need external rotation. There is a bottom up driver into the knee at heel strike.
@adamwolfpt.99808 жыл бұрын
That is incorrect. Based on what you describe the knee would feel internal rotation if The femur is moving internally slower than the tibia at heel strike
