fabulous teacher. I’ve gone through quite a few other tutorials on this pedal that I just picked up, and the other videos, they assume you already know the basics of how to navigate through the functions. This video is the best. Thank you.

I’ve had this pedal for a couple years but never took the time to learn the various menus, editing effects, etc. until just recently. You covered it pretty well although the looper feature part of your video didn’t mention overdubbing by hitting record again but I know that wasn’t the main point of the video. This is one of the better “get you up and running” tutorials I’ve seen on this pedal. Good job 👍🏻

Not sure if anyone is interested but I am working on midi control of parameters / select preset and hopefully load FX. I will post videos on my channel. The plan is to use Raspberry Pi 4 as controller running into Ctrlr midi software (that I ported to the Pi 4) and a large 21.5" touchscreen. I already made some videos on the B1XFOUR / G1XFOUR - work in progress but will be open source. I actually got the B1ON for Particles etc - really dig the B1ON. Great video here btw.

Nice review! I’m researching which pickups to get for my P Bass - SD Quarter Pounds, Hot, and these. Your review showed them in a good light, but I just can’t decide!!
@danadane25012 жыл бұрын
It depends what you want. The SPB-3 gives you a really boomy low end with good mids and high end. The Steve Harris SPB-4 gives a little more of a scooped sound. Decent mids and low end but not as boomy and over baring as the SPB-3. I actually have the SPB-3 but if I were to get another after market pickup it would be the Steve Harris pickup. To put into context as a bassist whose more into 1970s-1990s Rock N Roll and Heavy Metal they're the way to go. If you're more into Slap and R&B I'd go quarter pounder even though they'll work for Rock, Punk and Heavy Metal. I just happened to prefer that more scooped sound. Good luck.
@timvanboening94322 жыл бұрын
@@danadane2501 I appreciate the response. I went with Epic Custom Shop’s F2 pickups. They were the most affordable custom-made pickups and have a more vintage sound. Before I got them, I tried the QPs in my bass, and didn’t like the sound. Different strokes for all the folks, yeah? Have a great day and Happy Holidays!

Yes you can. I got one for thirty bucks today and found it works really well with guitars, especially as a looper and rhythm machine, although the effects are also interesting. It's very, very intuitive to use.

The distortion of bass in a guitar sound good?
@TomboLP4 жыл бұрын
@@saidsuaste5186 It doesn't sound like a high-quality distortion pedal or anything, but does sound pretty interesting as a tone color. I haven't tried it through different amps, where it might get closer to a "real" distortion, but I doubt it. For something like this, I think it's best to consider the effects as their own thing, rather than to compare them to "standard" sounds.

On a given preset you can change the order. I am working on midi control for it. I will post a video on my channel probably end of this week - bit tied up. It is possible to set the FX parameters, move to different presets etc. I haven't yet worked out how to modify the FX externally but this is possible on my B1XFOUR so I have to believe I will find it.

Recently I bought a bass guitar with nothing more and my dubt was if i buy the zoom pedal do i need to have a bass amplifier or with my amp won't be a problem. 2.- if i only buy the zoom Will it work with only headphones in it? Sorry for the English and the stupid question but i'm still learning :D

Eet fuk dont use bass guitar on your guitar amp. You will blow its speakers
@warhorse20345 жыл бұрын
I would not recommend using a guitar amp for playing bass. You can use the pedal with headphones and it has a USB port to plug into your computer 👍
