The protests gave way to DEI policirs. In a sense the foot is in the door, the policies walked through, the damage is done. Now you need counter protest to reverse it. But extreme left or right is damaging. It is hard to contain extremism. It is noisy. Balance is quiet. We need to expect extremism, not be shocked at it's existence, and refuse to fan its flames. And stay balanced.

For now, as a US Citizen, I believe we have completed D-Day, but have a lot more Ŵaŕfaŕ℮ ahead. We also have a relatively short deadline that both Right and Left are looking at: The 2022 Elections, after which all of Trump's Executive Orders could be d℮ṡŧŕօуed. Also, I've not heard much from the States cleaning up their voting systems.
