RFK’s stance on Israel is reprehensible but his appointed position has nothing to do with foreign policy and he will save lives with his policies for HHS.

The first and most urgent radical change that needs to occur is the inauguration needs to be moved forward to December 1 in consideration of the national security threat posed by the incumbent administration; and the compelling mandate that was delivered in the election. There is no reason to delay, especially considering the incapacitated condition of the incumbent President in a time of extreme danger.

Wonderful comments re the Kennedys by Jeffrey Sachs. I am 77 and I well remember driving with my mother and younger brother from the Bay of Islands to Auckland, NZwhen I was 15. Radio reception in those days was not good and we stopped the car halfway so that we could listen to President Kennedy addressing the nation. That trip was then completed in a somber mood. Unforgettable.

Colleges all have tuition. That tuition should fund that college. If the college cannot exist on tuition, that’s a sure sign the college doesn’t deserve to exist.

Tulsi is very impressive. However she does not have a track record of conservative actions YET. She did carry water for the Dems several years and had some sort of tie with the WEF. I will take a wait and see before declaring her to be the next president.

Weinstein is just wrong. I get so tired of the quasi-intellectual agrieved saying this BS. The Democratic party stands for the same timeless things it has since the New Deal and those things are directly beneficial to the working people. A higher minimum wage, universal healthcare, paid leave, reproductive rights, equality under the law for all people, the rule of law, the peaceful transition of power, broader access to education, a strong social safety net, a cleaner environment, and economic growth through manufacturing and trade, lower deficits, and a progressive tax system requiring the wealthy to pay a larger share of the burden. If someone is not for those things then they're a republlican. This is a binary choice. The Democratic Party has been for the same things all my adult life. And it's a good list of things to be for. Weinstein is just upset because some radical campus leftists ran him out of his university job and he now projects that onto the Democratic party. But to say the Democratic party is done is ridiculous.

People clash, simple ... blame, shame , guilty on either account. The words or context of definitions too often get complicated and difficult for some to understand. Then creates hostile relationships. Double standard educational programs dead ant societies all attempting to make illusions of life . ( supply and demand) as a reference. How much demand will be supplied before a pancake batter society will cook before we burn and not (flip) the insanity before the tastes are made acceptable?? .. reality check mate ..

While Vivek's arguments sound nice, he's being disingenuous. If the department of education was originally created to make sure that taxpayer dollars were equally distributed, that's in essence, an equity policy. If the department of education of today is now currently withholding federal funding on the contingency that equity lessons are being taught, that is also an equity policy. In reality, the purpose of the department of education today is not so different than that of 60 years ago; the equity issues were just much more prevalent and obvious back then compared to now. We've made great progress on equity work, but there is still more to do. In addition, I disagree that an organization should always remain the same and dissolve after meeting its original goals. Government agencies-- and the purpose of those agencies should change to meet societal issues. An example of this is the secret service; originally a counterfeiting agency, its now responsible for the protection of the president. The changing of the role of the secret service is not a bad thing. Finally, lower socioeconomic school districts require more federal funding -- this is because often, students don't have educational resources (laptops, field trip funds, student activity funds), nor basic necessities (food) due to a lack of money at home. They also have an increased chance of coming from a broken home environment or as a refugee. Vivek is right that the funding doesn't make up for the difference in academic achievement; students that come from disadvantaged communities do not have all their issues solved by a nominal increase in school funding. However, the academic achievement in those schools would be significantly LOWER if we were to distribute funds between high and low SES schools equally, rather than with an equity-based approach. Just some thoughts as someone doing an M.Ed.

Not EVERYTHING depends on natural intellect. I'm TOLD i have a VERY high IQ, but i was raised in a Home with very little discipline - My mother spent much of her time with My younger sister, WHO had learning disabilities - SO i LEARNED a LOT from My HUSBAND, WHO was raised in a VERY organised Home. He taught OUR CHILDREN to have priorities, and prepare for the next day by setting out Their school clothes & supplies the night before. NO HUNTING for Lost SHOES when the schoolbus was waiting !! Want to go to your Friends HOUSE ? No problem ! Is YOUR homework done ? Room clean? Ok! Lets go! SO it's NOT ALL IQ, but organised living helps a LOT !

There is no right to education. Therefore the problem is compulsory education being that duty bearers are elected civil servants have no obligation to fulfill this right as it doesn’t exist because they can’t make it equal- positive liberty versus negative liberty - nobody talks about removing the Department of Labor from education department of health and human services from education or the department of agriculture from education nobody talks about how you dismantle it from 100 years of unconstitutional violations inflicted upon these United States of America

06:08 It's actually the antithesis of what a capitalist wants. Protecting the border would not allow the big private institutions, "detention centers," that span all across the southern states from generating hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue each year off the holding of migrants and illegals that come here. It's more profitable for there to be a border problem/ migrant problem.
