This is horrific. I live in Batavia I used to go to the church I forgot the name on Bank street. I've been to City church. Myself I like The Way Church used to be sing the old hymns from the hymnal. A preacher not an evangelist. A lot of people left a lot of the churches to go to that church it takes away from small churches. They have massive amounts of money they own hundreds of houses not just in Batavia Medina Leroy. I didn't know church is about money I thought it was about Fellowship praising god. I find it kind of weird how they own a lot of the houses Mike Ognibene who has been on the news for tax evasion used to own I lived in one 119 State Street Batavia. They bought St Anthony's church. There are no churches here with that much money. People can't even buy a house they will outbid them. It's something wrong with it I've known it for years I didn't know about this. Well do they pay taxes probably not right? I seriously don't think anything legal will be done about this cuz it was so long ago. Other churches cannot compete with the megachurch. And I have noticed they are trying to step it up more music less preaching. I don't like it. Same music different songs. I've been to the Revival when they had it at Austin Park Batavia years years ago. I have thought about going back to church after my son died I was mad at God maybe I still am? I asked why do you take my son and not me? I have told my pastor my favorite one when I was talking to him when my son died I don't like that church City church. He would never say anything about the church ever....... but something needs to be done about this and soon. How much is City Church worth? A lot of poor people go there to get free stuff I go to church to Worship the Lord if I do and for fellowship. I wonder what do they expect the people to pay go there when they have so much money? Maybe you should look into their land business I wonder if they paid taxes. They own a lot of houses they own the church that thing in the center of Batavia the other Church used to be Saint Anthony's and hundreds of houses in Medina Leroy Batavia mostly how do they do that? He will put that on there a add and say it's an apartment and it will be hotel in Leroy a room and it's barely livable for 700 a month.. Grew up in a small town in WV, in the 50's & 60's. No one locked their doors at night. Everyone understood the rules of property rights and "right from wrong". I suspect that, today, no one in our town leaves their doors unlocked. My guess is that, if not for leftist politicians and media, those doors would still be unlocked.
