I just bought a pair of the Guide GTx"s and for 500$ I would think they should had least give you some waterproofing cream to try out?

Very cool guys. I have 3 girls that I love more than my next breath. They don’t hunt with me. But to experience life with them is everything to me. Congrats Sir, that special moment for you with your daughter! Good for you both!

I am thinking of the valderes 2. I am new to hunting elk and I am in the Olympic Mountains. Dan, are you hunting more in Idaho? Isn't that more dry than the olymics?

What would you say the coolest/most breathable boot you guys make is. My feet sweat a ton, and I am hoping to find something to mitigate that a little. I need something 8 inch or more.

What’s up guys! I wear a 10.5 in all other boots and shoes. But had to size down to a 10 for the altitudes. What size should I get in the Lite’s? Thanks

These types of video's are great for info and to compare one's set-up. Thanks fellas. How's the Grumman holding up?

I don’t know if those are “good” upgrades. The extra stitching on the rand is cool, but being as I’m not retarded, lacing my boots was never a problem. If the lace still locks so I can set my lace tension then cool. However, I bought those boots to be light. I understand dudes are sad they wear out but, that’s just the reality of using light gear. Now you made it heavier. I weighed my lapponias, and a size 11 was already like a 1.5 lbs….adding “just a few more ounces” I might as well just wear my kenai’s year round…

I'm seriously considering these, as they are in stock at my local sportsman's store. Primarily they will be for long, rugged hiking treks and backpacking. Will these be adequate?

All we can get here in Boise at Sportsmans seems to be the 200g insulated boots which is pretty much equivalent to uninsulated. Love the fit of the Crispis, but I need more insulation. My feet run cold so I generally prefer 600+ and just couldn't find anything in that range with Crispis. Do you have a boot with that much insulation? I ended up with the Kenetrek 1000 and yes, I use those early season as well.

I have a Lapponia 2 seems similar to the Lapponia lite, should I keep the 2 or trade in for Lapponia lite? Haven’t worn yet, but it’s for hunting Hawaii, so steep terrain usually dry

I just received the Thors and boy, oh boy the soles are stiff!! HOWEVER they are extremely comfortable right out of the box 😊 I wear a 10 D in White’s and Red Wing Iron Rangers. With the Crispi Thors I went with a 10.5. There was no way I could wear a 10. I hope this helps anyone who is looking at the Thors.

Nice work fellas! 3 bulls in a low density unit is strong work. Great job showing the struggle and you don’t get to show up and kill easily because it’s on camera. The last two episodes had my heart beating out of my chest.
