Paylakes are for coward fishermen. Real fishermen don’t fish in pay lakes. Real fishermen respect fish and wildlife. Pay lake fishing is animal cruelty

I did the same to a few of my rod and reels... The trouble I get is when I cast it, the line below the floater will wrap up around the line above the floater....

The pay lake i go to you can only use 3 kinds of bait has to barbless hooks have to use a net to pull it out the water fish cant touch the ground etc

U can’t beat 832 suffix braid ghost color. I use a 10” float with a 1oz sinker . U will always float around if ur not on bottom and the winds blowing.

In my opinion, no such thing as a cheap paylake set up. Even if you use a stick and a string, as long as you can catch a fish on it, it should be good enough.
