I am even now considering getting a R5. I am Canon user all my life. I was proud working for Canon in South Africa as a laser color copier technician... All my life I am a Canon's user. Canon is the BEST out of all. Currently I have Canon R6 and many other RF lenses... Best regards from Belgrade.

I love everything about the C80....except the form factor. If you want to rig anything to it, it's so awkward...and it gets vertically large immediately. I really wish Canon would make the C series just a conventional boring yet functional rectangular box.

This will most probably be my next lens. Very fast, very fast autofocus, relatively light, great colours and contrast, and very versatile - probably more versatile than it's 50mm sibling.

The C80 has more AI (artificial) image compared to C70. I just did a two days long test for comparision. I am very disappointed. The same goes to R5 m2 however I couldn't do the same amont of testing with that one.

An important note: in this video, she has the apertures reversed. It should say a "higher aperture" aka "Large" aperture is f/2.8 and a "Lower aperture" or "Small" aperture is f/14.

I spent an hour on help with Canon tech support and got a dead end. I have a Canon R5 and a MacBook Pro M1 from 2021. I was simply trying to use it for Zoom, and it needed this EOS Webcam Utility. The Canon R5 is recognized by macOS and works fine with EOS Utility 3 for live view, but the camera isn’t being detected by the EOS Webcam Utility Pro software. Despite trying multiple machines, cables, and troubleshooting steps, the camera won’t show as a video source in the webcam utility. Any ideas?
