Hey there, this unit is meant to be used as a cargo trailer first. Most use this model to haul a side by side or dirt bikes, etc out for a day of fun. It sounds like the Plā series is more catered to what you are looking for. Those include toilet/shower, residential kitchens for cooking, and windows. Hey there, excellent question! When working with those materials, we use a 3M barrier tape and powder coat process to prevent electrolysis between steel and aluminum. We do not use pressure treated lumber, therefore no corrosion between that and aluminum frame.

@@aluminumtrailer Great question... I really want a 16' trailer. Both of which the ROM and STO have... but I need it to be actually 16'-6" because my old car is just a hair over. I saw the STO is supposedly measured from where before it tapers... could it haul a 3600lb car? I realize I'd have to crawl out the window. I'm hesitant to jump to a 20' trailer, because then my truck and trailer won't fit well in a parking lot.

The dealer has been great and has been in touch with ATC support. It’ll be a few days before the problem is resolved and it is ready to be delivered. ATC is mailing a new Thermostat to the dealer.

@@aluminumtrailer I finally took possession of the RoM 550 last weekend and it is a fabulous trailer. I'm so happy the dealership was able to fix the failed wire connecting the thermostat and the AC unit and all seems to be work great so far.

We do not have the happijac bed available as an option in the Stō 350 at this time. We would encourage you to check out our new Plā 450 though. You can option a single happijac bed in it plus fold down couches or bunk beds in the front. Here's a link. atctrailers.com/products/pla-450/

Is a wider sto 350 with hapijack bunks being developed? If so, is there an approximate date of availability? The 450 pla looks great but a considerable step up in size, weight, and price. Thanks
