For all those saying there is to much friction There is no friction If there was friction the freehub insides would push the casette and so the whole group forward But if theres no friction and the freehub spins fast,the group spins slower and stays almost at the same speed for al certain time If there was friction it would slow down If there was to much friction he couldnt hold the crank without stopping or slowing down the wheel

Um, that’s the rotating weigh to the friction of freehub making it spin.

From a physics perspective, wouldn't the saving in rotational drag in the freehub be almost negligible compared to the rolling friction from the tires? In a nutshell, does it really make a difference for a mere mortal like myself?

Sworks, Dura-Ace and Ceramicspeed OSPW…I sense cycling-snobbery here! But dude seriously, this only shows the freehub has lots of drag caused by too much grease or too stiff leaf springs. The former is a bit concerning if your climate ever drop below 0 deg. The grease may clog up your hub and cause skipping, even damaged pawls.

The buzz indicates A LOT of friction. They're nice for fast engagement, but those hubs have a ton of friction when coasting.

The irony of the desired Chris King sound is that (loud) freehub noise is a form of wasted energy (kind of like Entropy) - meaning wasted watts... ideally, a noise free hub would be more efficient (all other things being equal)....

CeramicSpeed USA in Colorado says CeramicSpeed bearings would fit in a Chris King bottom bracket because of the Race size of the CK and the CS bearings being smaller not allowing it. I guess they were wrong.

Pretty sure this means you dont have the b tension screw in enough. The gap between the top jockey wheel and the largest cassette needs to be at least 8mm or this happens.
