i defeat Emerald Weapon in 2 days 😱 i don't have many powerful materias, level even limit breaks like Omnislash, but was very Funny 😹 For Ruby weapon was boring, i have all materias like KoTR, Omnislash, etc, just make Mime, omnislash, mime, omnislash, mime KoTr etc

My only problem with this game was the power scaling. Adel should've been a challenging boss fight. Her attack damage was way too low. I like the junction system but it allowed you to become too op quickly., and you have to nerf yourself to make the game challenging. Still like the game and would play it again.

I've played FF8 a few times and the only way to really make it decently challenging in my experience is to really ratchet down your options from early. I'm talking limiting a lot of the game's mechanics. That's my main criticism with the gameplay.

@@larrygiles8556 My unpopular opinion is that they should do away with the junctioning system if they were to ever remake this game. It hurts replayability if you already know where to get and find every piece of magic. You didn't even have to level up in this game lol

Totally based on setup, it's a breeze as long as you're in the 50s with a great Materia combination across all three characters.

As a kid back in 2010 I can still vividly remember trading with a buddy of mine an extra copy of pokemon SilverDS for 358/2. Ultimately that was how I introduced myself to this amazing franchise, this damn boss made me give up on it back then, now it’s time to emulate this game for my revenge lol

Raw dogging Sephiroth at level 60 without farming to level 99 is nuts to me. I went in there damn near maxed out every time.

I've done it that way several times too, this particular time I just wanted to do it normally. The older I get, the more it's absolutely overkill and anticlimatic to be at post game Ruby/Emerald Weapon levels just to finish off Sephiroth 💀

No worries, I'd actually argue most of the heaviest spoilers are middle of the game - the end of disc 2. It's hinted at heavily who the final confrontation will be against from early.
