You made a very wise decision getting out of Mormonism as religion is a poison - the only benefit is it gives your children a moral code - stay wise don't fall into another spiritual trap enjoy life - enjoy your kids they will grow up fast.

13 kids - moved 10 times and purchased many a bunk bed - wonder if they will reflect later in life they were a bit crazy having 13 children - 1st Couple. How Roy sleeps after a night shift is a total mystery is he on a 2 hour sleep pattern?

I know what it is to place a child for adoption and then to go on and have more kids. My daughter will be 38 next month and have found her but she hasn’t made contact yet. 😢😕 I opened a support group in Facebook for birth moms and that helps a lot.

Whilst I love the big families, the amount of money spent on xmas/birthday presents is mind boggling. Kids lose appreciation for things when given too much in one go.

Sadly, $1 TRILLION Mormon cult overlooks & supports male sexual abuse & rape of its sister female members by male members & other males. It's all about females being shamed for being raped, forgiving predator males & feeling like chewed up gum. UNACCEPTABLE MORMON Sex abuse!

Spot on! Everything said here about the $1 TRILLION Mormon cult is true! Good on them for walking away! Super hard to do due to cult shaming by Q15 cult leaders, friends and family members.

Roy & Emma, I was sorry to hear that you left the church but you are not alone. There are others who have left for the same reason. In a lot of families today there is someone who is Gay & my family is no exception but while many have come to accept the gay life style, according to the Bible, God has not. It clearly states that 2 men or 2 women are not to sleep together. For those who have an attraction to the same sex it can be a very difficult cross to bear but one that God wants them to do. We wouldn’t be lenient of an adult sleeping with a child or a person having sex with a beast but there are people with that inclination. God destroyed Sodom & Gomorrah because of the sexual perversion there. It’s not a coincidence that the one city is called Sodom. As we get closer to the 2nd coming people in the world will become more perverse just as they did in the time of Noah. I know it might seem as though the Church is being unkind toward Gays but they cannot go against the Proclamation of the Family. In all Churches you will hear & see questionable things among members because we are all sinners. Please think about why you joined the Church in the first place? Did you receive a testimony of the Book of Mormon etc.? If so maybe you should rethink your decision. I hate to see you throw the baby out with the bath water. Being a member is a huge responsibility I know & it might feel like a relief to not be going now. I wish you all well. May God be with you.

Emma and Roy. You have a beautiful family and you are wonderful parents. I just saw this vlog for the first time. I just want to say that I am very sorry about your negative experiences with the lds church. I belong to the church, and have never heard of the church not talking about sexual abuse/assault. I don’t know about your other experiences, but I just feel so sad that it has been this way for you. It should never have been that way. I look forward to watching your family more often. 💖
