Sir main Multan say hon. Meri sister nay Laser URS k zarayee kidney ki nali say stone ko nikalwaya. Do din hoay hain. Doctor nay Meri sister ko discharge kia aor woh ghar aai. Lekin jab woh bethti hy ya chalti hy to headache hoti hy. 2 din hoay hain operation ko. To kindly bta dain sir k yeah kia wajah hy. Yeah normal hy operation k baad Kuch din tk hota hy ya koi aor issue hy. Kindly if you feel convenient. Humain bta dain. Allah apko khush rakhay. Ameen

If stone is less than 6 mm this can pass out but more than six mm chances are low. If more than 10 mm then don’t try to remove. It will damage the kidney. But no medication can dissolve stone. Very very rare entities can dissolve but most common type in Pakistan is calcium oxylate stone, does not dissolve with any medicine

Sir my daughter 7 yrs of age is carrying non obstructing 17mm kidney stone is right renal pelvis with mild hydronephrosis. 1670 HU stone density. Dr has suggested mini pcnl with 14F sheath under GA with placement of dj stent thereafter. Can RIRS be performed in her case or mini pcnl is the only option?

For a seven years old and 17 mm stone, Mini PCNL is the right option. RIRS though safer but has its own prerequisites. Go ahead with mini PCNL but make sure your surgeon has enough experience.
