its like a dictionary that describes building models. if archicad wants to commuicate with revit you need a trasnlator, beacause each software describes the same model in a differnt way. its a world language like english wich most can speak. Hallo -> HELLO -> Hola // Archiad wall -> IfcWALL -> Revit wall. IfcWall represents a wall object in the BIM model, it contains information like geometry, material, and associated properties. those standardized types help to check your building for solidity, energy peformance, structurally long lasting, environmental adaptation, fire safety, sustainable MEP design, and so on ... With that you can quickly try and combine many versatile approaches on different architectural features to find the best concept in terms of firmitas, utilitas and venustas. :)

TBH i was expecting more. Till the very end i didn't understand how this process can replace the traditional 2d drawings. I hope there will ne another session where he explains it with practical examples.

Is there any way to mask elements based on its value? For instance if I wanted to get all points with the same Z coordinate.

Muy buen video. Estas cosas parecen poca cosa, pero son de gran ayuda. Y son componentes que pasan desapercibidos. Gracias como siempre.

Thanks for the video. When linking to Revit base point, you may want to do that with a single click as shown on this youtube tutorial: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i4mqnYd4e9hsras
