I use degreaser for mine, here in Canada we get a lot of corrosion caused from the harsh winters and salt

Step 1. Clear out and clean out the glove box itself. I have seen glove boxes dirtier than the cabin air filter

Get a vacuum cleaner with a crevice attachment and attack that area after removing a filter with half a tree stuck in the vanes

01:03 ramps are safer and easier for these types of repairs.

I have this distasteful and horrible task to do. I found it so frustrating and maddening, I cant even put it into words. I do not understand why the design entails trying to fit it back in when you cannot even see where the clips snap, as the drawer conceals the tabs when try8ng to install it. I shall follow this and see if it helps. I watched many vids with the last filter and it was not so easy as shown. But I am not pay8ng anyone to do this cheap job.

Disgusting when you watch this video and then see a statement for the mechanic's charges for doing this.
