Which text book deduces the wave equation so I can cite it in my thesis? Would Hecht guide be legit reference? If so, where do I find it for free?

Can you do a video to explain why Schrodinger used eiθ as the wave function for his wave equation. The imaginary part implies a rotation in the complex plane. But why choose this to describe an electron as a wave

I make videos for my classes, which address the topics necessary for my students in a particular context. It is possible that your suggestion will come up sometime!

To my limited knowledge, using Euler identity as the operon in the famous wave equation not only facilitates symbolic computations but also helps us visualize its machinery on the phasor plane.
