I have two questions. First what happens if i put my finger in it second what happens if i have metal in my finger and i put it in?
@hunterchilders315618 күн бұрын
Just your finger nothing a finger with metal third degree burns it reacts to faromagnetic metals only it’s useless on aluminum and copper but anything magnetic it’ll burn it up I’ve seen some powerful enough to accidentally liquify small bolts a blacksmith buddy made one for treating swords that’s the one that melts small bolts it’s hooked directly to a three phase outlet either 240 or the next one up which off hand I think is 360 but I’m probably wrong I don’t mess with much that’s bigger than 240 I don’t know enough about it

@@hunterchilders3156 not true , inductance heating works on all metals , ferrous or not , it's not about being magnetic , it's high frequency occilation, and the eddy currents in any metal ! If inductance only worked on ferrous metals your aluminium or copper fry pan would not get hot on an inductance stove . It's exactly the same idea .

So, why do I want a burning bolt? Does it burn off the rust?
@nathenvelez18 күн бұрын
Well if you’ve ever worked on anything that’s rusty, you know how often you have to use a torch to loosen the bolt or nut. Well this basically does the same thing minus the open flame
@liamholloway902217 күн бұрын
Here’s a good example I have three stubborn bolts on my exhaust I’m trying to remove that are rusted to high heaven. Thanks Ohio. Anyways they are really on there good. I need this or something like it to loosen the threads up. I’ve used propane and MAP but it won’t budge.
@jarrodsargent581817 күн бұрын
I thought we added heat to the nut to make it expand, in turn making it easier to take out. How does heating the rusty bolt make it easier to take out?
