Info: so he is being bullied because of the social class he is in and his eye color (I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere that the reason why most cons has red I eyes was because red eyed bots were lower class before the war) anyway he gets inspired by megatons visions of the better future nad that's why he becomes a con but as the war goes he realizes that megatons visions of the future is nothing but a dream long lost and that the war has no meaning anymore not after all the bots they lost
