Been a Leafs fan my whole life, having lived in Toronto. I saw Bobby Orr play there once live. Watched him play his whole career & I gotta say I’ve watched many hockey stars over my lifetime, but Bobby Orr was the greatest hockey player I ever saw. 🏒😊

during the lockdown, jagr and straka came to my hometown in germany to make a guest appearance, i was standing behind the goal and every time they entered the opponent's zone they flipped the puck back and forth over two defenders' sticks at a speed i've never seen before. it was like fast forward and so precise, like from another planet

Mario would have most likely hit the 1000 goals mark if he had played around 1500 games. Best goal scorer there ever was.

Wayne who? Oh, Wayne Simmonds… one of the greatest Flyers of all time?! You mean Wayne Simmonds who played for the Kings, who I’d watch, and say “that guy’d make a great Flyer one day.” Wayne Simmonds is one of my favourite (former) players. Suck an egg banana chucker.

I'm quite surprised Jari Kurri is not on this list because he's one of the biggest reasons why Gretzky succeed. Gretzky won all of his Stanley cups (4) when he played with Kurri. Kurri's exceptional skill and chemistry with Gretzky played a significant role in Gretzky's extraordinary hockey performances.

Forsberg should probably get a mention, Kariya as well. Peter Klima would do one thing a week that nobody had ever done in the NHL but for the rest of the week you couldn't find him with a bloodhound and a compass. Love these lists!

Guess you have forgotten these great swedes: >Börje Salming (Toronto) >Peter Forsberg (Colorado) ~The Sedin twins (Vancouver) >Mars Sundin (Toronto) >Niklas Lidström (Detroit) >and William Nylander (Toronto ) will likely go far. Don’t forget that was Salming was the one who opened the door for Europeans to go over there to play in NHL, and there is probably a lot of that I forgot to mention

Jagr's ability one handed was incredible. One hand on stick, handling puck, other arm on defender keeping them at bay. Then he scores. Dude was amazingly STRONG.

Boo him then and booed him again when they retired his number. Chris and I quote "I'll Always be part of the Red Wing family" Chelios. Let the Red Wings retire his number. He'll NEVER be accepted by us 300 level REAL Hawk fans. Same goes for you traitor Kane. Quit shoving Chelios down our throats Danny Wirtz. Your either a Blackhawk or a Red Wing. You can't be both. End of story.

I was at a Flyers/Rangers game when Gretzky played for them. He was playing point on power plays. He scored two goals the same way. The puck came to him, he raised his stick.. stopped at the top of his swing, looked for the opening, seemed to say "there it is", then shot and scored! Was crazy to watch.
