Many people often ask me about the main differences in usability between a POD camper (like teardrop or squaredrop models) and other types. One key point that TVAN marketing may not highlight enough is its exceptional off-road capability, not that it just can do it but the fact it was designed to be in those conditions. As a TVAN owner, sometimes I lie down inside and look at the roof, realising I've spent as much as I would on a full 22ft luxury van. The true value of the TVAN becomes evident when you tackle seriously rough off-road conditions and everything arrives intact and working, you never really have a concern on the trip that’s when you understand the investment. Initially, two people in my circle of friends didn't even consider a camper or hybrid because they didn't want to tow. After seeing the TVAN's capabilities firsthand, on several trips their perceptions of its value for money changed, and now we are a three-vehicle TVAN convoy. Our heavily modified Adventra has navigated the MK5 through some remarkable track conditions. The way it handles feedback from the wagon and responds to the terrain makes it feel like an integral part of the towing setup rather than just a trailer carrying your bed. It turns the whole trip into this awesome off-road journey where your home is wherever you park it. Seeing the onset of rain makes me really appreciate opening up the TVAN. It's always dry and cozy inside, and watching the raindrops hit the window while listening to the soothing sounds of the rainfall is just the best. With a TVAN, the rugged Aussie landscape feels like home, so much that you never really feel like it’s time to head back. It might take a while for the US market to catch on, but once they see more TVANs around, they’ll get why it’s a game-changer.

Love the family pride that this video portrays. My first adventure was 2+ years traveling OZ in a Kombi. That was in the early 80's. Retirment isn't far away now and the "Spark" has certainly got my interest. Great work and go you great team of Aussies!!!

There are still other Tvan models which have Gas cooktops, if you want you go that way. There is nothing Woke about this, as alot of caravans are moving to Induction cooktops, as there are issues with having Gas cooktops requiring flame failure devices fitted, for safety reasons. And why carry gas when you don't need to. Well done to Track for forward thinking, even though they might have needed to be pushed. Now if they could include induction cooktops on their T4 Hybrid and Pioneer Veve Hybrid campers, they would have a winner.

Another seriously good camper from Track Trailer. The focus on renewable energy is very welcome... and that's a pretty serious 12V system!

I like the functionality of the TVAN. That said, the exterior design just screams garage truck to me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm not trying to insult because I do like the trailer.

Hey Aaron - we jumped on an August build Zenith, and added some options like wheel matching our 200 series, Skyward deck, extra water tank and lithium batteries, a few other bits and pieces - $93k all up, we got in before the MY21 price rise. Just sold our Patriot X3 to get it, so in swags to the Cape shortly and until it arrives

I have been thinking the same in regards to no comments in every track video on youtube lol. I think because of the price tag its the oldies who are the target audience and we know they are not to good on the internet. I would love user feedback in the comment section.

next time, take a decent camera man for the review. Or get him a tripod and a a lens that is suited to filming inside confined spaces. With such close up shaky views, it makes it very hard to get an understanding of the actual lay out within the trailer. like the product, hate the video. its a disservice to your brand
@maxmeranda7 жыл бұрын
The t-van is my fav concept camper for a number of reasons, and it really is a vehicle in it's own class imo. The problem is... with all due respect to Pat, the people chosen to review will often say similar things about other campers. So the point I'm trying to make? If you follow Pat, Michael Browning, John Willis, and many others that have reviewed this camper, you will also find that most of them whole-heartedly promote OTHER campers to potential customers also--some of which are JUNK. At the end of the day, the seeking customer is back to square one, as the reviewers basically say, one camper after the next, "they are all good".

The t-van is great, but listening to Ron Moon has a bad name for himself... he is annoying to listen to actually...
