I am an insurance agent. If you want to live near the water it is turning into a cash market as lender and insurance companies are going to be more reluctant. Fort Myers Beach is a preview as while you do see some reopenings you will also notice all the vacant land as 'Builders Risk' polices are hard to get. That is the policy needed for building until a new home is sold. I do expect lots to be sold and merged and mansion built for those that can afford to self insure. But for the good old days of Florida where "Joe SixPack' could live on the water and have his boat, jetskis, motorcycles, and other toys that need coverage are over. The new residents will have a lot higher income which will be required to live near the water.

Great video I was looking up information about development around this Lake got a lot from this video I used to drive by this Lake every day back in the 1970s only three or four houses on it near the road the rest was all swamps and Orange Groves I always wondered why there wasn't more development starting behind Disney back then I'm thinking it was because the back entrance was only for employees same with the side entrance before Epcot so it was many miles to drive around to the front so behind Disney was still out in the Sticks
