I just watched his version of "Bohemian Rhapsody" w a friend and at the end we were moved to stand up and applaud, as anyone should be. I can't help but think that youtube has cheapened music to some extent. This is an experience that one should savor and spread the word about but we are busy moving on to the next video of a 10yo girl playing "flight of the bumblebee" on a Harmony acoustic while bee-keeping.

I'll back up Jack Michaelson here. It is NOT Canon in C and NEVER has been. I will repeat part of my answer to a post by koko barokoko. "As far as I am aware it is and always has been for over 300 years "Canon in D" written by and titled by Baroque composer Johann Pachelbel(1653 - 1706.)" There is a version called Canon Rock but it is still in D not C

please read previous comments. this has already been pointed out repeatedly in the 3YEARS that comment was posted- the fact that you felt the need to correct it is redundant and pedantic.

Are you saying that it is being played in c major or that the title of the piece is " Canon in C?" As far as I am aware it is and always has been for over 300 years, "Canon in D" written by and titled by Baroque composer Johann Pachelbel (1653-1706)

@uneedtherapy42 I know what you mean about the classical technique. While I listen to more rock than classical, I tend to listen to musicians who take leaves from the books of composers. I prefer classical to rock on many levels, but I love vocals that are not operatic. While I don't deny Bocelli or Groban's talents, "Cinema Paradiso" doesn't pump me up during a workout. Opera is a style (in my opinion) for relaxing. I love listening to opera at night.

Yes I'd like to add my voice to the chorus of protests as to why the account has been suspended. Along with all his other works I am badly missing his version of "Duelling Banjos." It was awesome. He is up there with the best of guitarists.
