Hear me out… most of the areas we’re able to get fossils from were essentially shallow or coastal oceans at best. All the BIG creatures were out deeper, in areas that have been ocean for hundreds of millions of years and we cant dig for fossils

Aquatic creatures cannot simply migrate deeper into the ocean from where they have spent the entirety of their lives. There's let's fish deeper in the ocean to sustain any creature, not to mention the major temperature difference that would kill off so many of them.

Well, you do see that Hillenburg did not direct the show after the movie and many people said that the third season ended in 2002 and went on hiatus. It actually ended in September 2004 and the movie came out a few months after in late November. I think it does feel conclusive but it was supposed to end there because Hillenburg was going to leave anyways but with the ratings still going up Nickelodeon and especially Viacom weren’t ready to stop making money. The show that allowed SpongeBob to take its place Snizz and Fondue was canceled after the creator left the studio. So why didn’t it end when Hillenburg left the show? I still think that fans are over exaggerating a little but yes, it’s lasted too long and the post credits scene where the janitor tells the pirates to leave is a symbol of moving on with life.

They did actually find mermaids in the Pacific Ocean I think two types actually on in shallow waters and ones in deeper waters though they are seen just as normal marine animals

usually i put these sorts of "iceberg" videos on in the background as some kind of content slop and they're usually just nothingburgers but you actually add personality and humor to such a typically dry genre, i found myself actually paying attention. Really good stuff!

I watched this movie with my dad a couple days ago, he didn’t expect the beginning at all, he thought it was gonna be a cool pirate movie, only to be betrayed a minute later lol. He had never seen it before, and he’s not a big cartoon fan so I expected him to just roll his eyes for the most part, but it turned out a lot of the jokes made him chuckle. It was blast watching it with him, and I understood more jokes since I’ve matured, as there was a surprising amount of adult jokes in there, more than I remember. By the end of it, I asked what he thought of it, he said it was “okay”. That might not sound like a big deal if you don’t know him, but he’s hard to impress when it comes to cartoons/movies, and that was the best response I’ve ever gotten out of him. I love SpongeBob. :)
