@@stevangucu522 They did away with what they called super steer after the 70 series. One turns a little sharper than the other cause the distance on wheel spacing. But neither turns like the super steer tractors do.

@thedonleroy3 ай бұрын
The beans up here look the same. We got all our fields planted but there were quite a few fields around here that never got planted because they were too wet. That should help the USDA's predictions come true. We have been getting quite a few of those wonderful roundabouts in my area the last couple of years too.

Good Morning Happy Farmer. Do you know if custom operators get paid by the acre .Also why don't they get closer to fence lines or property lines when all you have is grass growing no obstacles to break the booms off .I I believe the companies are Hollowed Out . The Pencil Neck Pushers (Big Wigs) tell them just dump the load will come back and do a respray if the grower complains what is your perspective on this .
@onehappyfarmer34614 ай бұрын
@@fredf3391 Yes they charge by the acre, and around here most guys I see do a good job of spraying the edges. Some farmers are good at spraying half the road ditch too. I have a nozzle on the end of the boom called a fence row nozzle, I can turn it on and give the fence and brush along the edge a good extra shot of spray.

I don’t run any higher populations. I planted all the corn at 32,000 except one poor farm at 31,000 and that was still to thick the way it’s looking. Beans I plant at 150,000 and double crops at 165,000. Most guys plant 34,000 around here. I always think it’s gonna be dry and hot and plant accordingly. And thank you.
