Lived in Pattaya 4 years pre covid. Always kept 500 or 1000 baht under my seat and would give it to police whenever stopped, literally worked EVERY TIME. After 2 years I did eventually just go get the bike license which is super easy to do.

It's not just tourists who are arrested by the police because they don't have a driver's license, Thai people are also asked to have a fun trip and have a safe trip.

You do see everyone getting treated the same. I found everyone super friendly and helpful. I love the Kingdom of Thailand. It's all about staying safe and being as happy as possible. 🐘🦎❤

Best things about Thailand are the smiley and friendly locals and just the overall vibe. Your soul feels free there.

Totally agree with you, you switch off when in Thailand. Your soul does feel free. Smile at those who don't because they need it the most. I could easily call it home for some time. The smiles are contagious. 🙂
