A big part of not being foolish, I think, is what we're taught about MEEKNESS (can, but won't). There are many things we might FEEL like doing, but if we sit back and think about the CONSEQUENCES of such speech or action, we decide against it. We RESTRAIN ourselves. We don't say everything on our mind without consideration, nor do we do actions because we feel like doing them. Living by the Spirit (reading God's word earnestly, then living it out) along with life experience help us live wisely wherein we do the most good for the Lord's Cause 🙂

You are as confused on this subject as anyone I have ever heard. Read all of Mt 19 on the subject. Apparently you missed the Eunoch part. Matthew 19:11 Jesus Teaches on Celibacy But He said to them, “All cannot accept this saying, but only those to whom it has been given: Matthew 19:12 For there are eunuchs who were born thus from their mother’s womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He who is able to accept it, let him accept it.”
