You messsd up big time while in Niles and didnt go to the Taco Truck "La Negris" by the car wash. Hands down the best Taco Truck in Fremont. Btw funny story but i couldnt make up my mind between Bronco Billys and La Negris so i bought both and was pretty mucj done for the day lol

Have them with Kimchi!! I've been eating these for lunch nearly everyday since I got them on sale from Costco, along with a serving of the Kimchi, balanced and very flavorful. Super convenient and very good for the price and being frozen. I mean yes if I fly back to Taiwan and have the hsiao-long-bao in a ma & pa these would seem mediocre. But here in Charlottesville? No brainer.

I forgot to add to slow down and try not to do and eat and just experience and relax. And whatever you do, DO NOT ATTEND A TIMESHARE PRESENTATION!!! Avoid timeshares like the plague on your pocketbook for the rest of your life that they are! Those people are worse than any car salesman and they won’t let you go until you sign 12 documents and give you only 5 days to realize what you signed and back out!

I have to say that a lot of the charm of Kauai was missed on your trip, and cost so much less if you go online and search around before you go. Comfort is important and a real bed will improve your stay and sleep so you have the energy to explore. Get a room with a kitchen and bbq access. I shopped at Safeway and fruit stands. Support the locals as much as you can. They struggle to get by and you will get a feel for culture by talking to native Hawaiians. Respect them and their way of life and the land and ecology and they will have more respect for you. Attend their music and dance performances and buy their CD’s and crafts and extras for gifts. Play the music as you drive around. The less trash and plastics you use and leave, the better. Get up early to take in a sunrise at the beach and sunsets are spectacular. There are botanical gardens to explore. If you have the opportunity to experience native Hawaiian ceremonies and chants and rhythms, do! There is a Wailua River ride to fern grotto, whale watching dinner cruises you really don’t want to miss. Less sushi and poke and more pineapple, mango, guava, salads and oh, their Lapperts Ice Cream cones are memorable! Eggberts cafe had awesome breakfasts for reasonable prices and the open air was nice. Coconuts Cafe had amazing Ono burgers. If you’re into adventure, a helicopter ride will give you a Birds Eye view of the island and its spectacular coastline and waterfalls. I hang onto your wallet if it’s open-cockpit!!)

I have tried all 3 flavors and every one gave me headaches. I drink Starbucks cold brew all the time never a headache but this always a headache not sure why.

We have Rise down the road. Their breakfast sandwich and a cinnamon roll are my go-to. Oh, and they are from the our town, Durham, North Carolina!

The Big Boy beats the Big Mac every time. I think the mayo/red relish combo on the Big Boy is much better than the Big Mac Sauce (1000 Island, admit it).

Bob's fries in the day: 1960's -70's were fabulous, but the ones they serve in Burbank today are nothing like they use to be. Burbank leaves on the skin, which is totally wrong, and they are thin, too... Bob's fries were fatter, long, fresh and perfect, and the Heinz Ketchup wasn't In plastic squeeze bottles, but instead glass bottles; it didn't contain high fructose corn syrup, and you had to thump the bottom of the bottle to get any, or maybe too much!

When I went I was a big fan of the Luigi Burger. Also a good hack is to get a side of pesto sauce and use that on the garlic knots and it makes it 10x better! Good stuff…keep up the good work
