@@girodeitalia2259 we are in the gas station vending business servicing air and vacuum machines along with POS (point of sale terminals) 25 years in and used to be in the public telephone business. Competitive business and very capital intensive and labor intensive. If you have 1-2 million dollars I’d invest in something else. Locations have contracts and relationships very challenging to get into business. And 1 million would be 1/3 the size of my business.

@ actually no it’s challenging to find employees to do the work and be trustworthy. You’re a janitor in so many ways having to clean out vacuum machines that’s just nasty. And it’s a lot of traffic sitting in and driving. If I had 1-2 million dollars no ways I’d do this it’s a dying business in some ways. Small gas stations are being over run by the big guys and closing and the big guys offer free air and vacuums as well. And 10 years from now with all the advancement of technology: airless tires, portable hand held air pumps, more efficient vehicles, less trips to the gas station, remote work will grow and not shrink……etc I witnessed the same thing in the public telephone business technology destroyed it. I won’t be in the business another 5 years

@ about six months before the war in Ukraine started I put about 2/3 of my portfolio into the defense industry, companies like Raytheon and I basically hit the jackpot. I also had grandparents back in the 70s give me birthday and Christmas presents in stocks, two of which were Xerox and Apple, dumped the Xerox one in the late 80s which was a good move and the Apple ones I have just left alone and before my grandfather passed away he told me to dump my world calm in 93 and thank God he did

@ I’m almost there myself. Not to mention the agpro dealers are the worst to work with. Had a broken bell crank that raises the mower deck only 40 hrs on it. Had the part in my hand they refused to warranty the part. Said put it all back together and trailer it over and we’ll see if it can be a warranty claim. No thanks, so you can keep the tractor for 2 months then decline the warranty and charge me out the ass.
